Tectyl Global Meeting 2026: One Brand, One Shared Direction

Three regions, three companies and one global brand came together to look ahead and strengthen the future of Tectyl.

From 25 to 27 August 2026, representatives from CorPro GmbH in Europe, Daubert Chemical Company, Inc. in the Americas and Hanval Inc. in Asia came together for the Tectyl Global Meeting.

Bringing together the three companies managing the Tectyl brand across the world, the meeting created an opportunity to exchange regional perspectives, share expertise and align on the future direction of the brand.

    Different markets, shared opportunities

Tectyl operates across very different markets, industries and application environments. Customer requirements in Europe are not necessarily the same as those in the Americas or Asia. Regulations, technologies and market developments also differ from region to region.

    That diversity is valuable.

By bringing regional knowledge together, an opportunity identified in one part of the world can become relevant elsewhere. A customer application in Europe may reveal potential at facilities in the Americas or Asia. Technology or experience developed in one region may help solve a challenge in another.

This was one of the important ideas behind the meeting: the opportunity is not only to develop more products, but to use the knowledge, technology and solutions that already exist within Tectyl more effectively across the world.

Looking at the future of corrosion protection

The meeting was also an opportunity to look beyond today’s portfolio and consider how corrosion protection requirements are evolving.

Across different markets, developments in water-based, low-VOC and non-solvent technologies are becoming increasingly relevant, alongside evolving OEM requirements and expectations around safer and more sustainable solutions. New technologies, applications and customer requirements continue to shape the direction of the industry.

At the same time, customers increasingly expect more than a coating alone. Technical expertise, application support, accessible product information and reliable local availability are becoming an important part of the overall customer experience. These themes formed part of the strategic perspective brought to the global discussions.

    Global expertise, closer collaboration

For Tectyl, being a global brand is not simply about having products available in different countries.

It means connecting expertise across regions.

The Global Meeting brought together perspectives from Europe, the Americas and Asia to explore how Tectyl can collaborate more closely across markets, customers, technologies and distribution.

This creates opportunities to learn from applications already proven elsewhere, identify common customer needs and make expertise developed in one region more accessible to another.

It also supports a more consistent global Tectyl experience while allowing each region to respond to the specific needs of its own markets.

Nearly a century of protection, with the focus firmly ahead

Tectyl’s history reaches back to the 1930s, when the brand was developed as a rust-preventive coating for military and industrial equipment. Over the decades, Tectyl expanded into new industries and established a presence across Europe, Asia and North America.

That history provides a strong foundation, but the purpose of the Tectyl Global Meeting was firmly focused on what comes next.

Closer cooperation between regions, continued technology development, stronger global customer relationships and the exchange of knowledge across the Tectyl network will all contribute to the next chapter of the brand.

Nearly a century after the Tectyl story began, we are still looking forward.

One Tectyl. Global expertise. A shared future.
