Industrial and manufacturing environments face corrosion risks at multiple stages of the production lifecycle. Machined components, welded structures, fabricated assemblies, and spare parts are exposed to humidity, handling contamination, temperature fluctuations, and international transport conditions. Tectyl provides rust protection systems designed to integrate directly into manufacturing workflows while supporting quality control and process efficiency.
For general metal protection during storage and shipment, wax-based and oil-based rust preventive coatings such as Tectyl 506, Tectyl 506-WD, and Tectyl 511-M provide barrier protection and moisture displacement for machined components, spare parts, and assemblies. Water-displacing properties reduce flash rust risk after machining or washing processes.
For structural steel, chassis components, and heavy industrial fabrications, polymer dispersion coatings such as Tectyl 300G Black E and Tectyl 5506W-I provide durable rust protection with water-based, low-VOC characteristics. These coatings are suitable for industrial equipment, construction machinery, and agricultural equipment components requiring longer-term protection.
When inspection visibility is required, transparent solutions such as Tectyl 300G Clear E and Tectyl TPC Invisible provide corrosion protection while maintaining part identification and visual traceability. This supports quality control and warehouse management processes without additional cleaning steps.
For enclosed structures and welded joints, cavity protection products designed for industrial use, such as Tectyl 4D750 and Tectyl 550-ML, protect seams, overlaps, and structural cavities where condensation may accumulate. These penetrating systems ensure effective rust control in areas that are difficult to access after assembly.
Industrial engine blocks, hydraulic systems, compressors, and gear systems are preserved using Tectyl 930 and Tectyl 915W40, providing internal corrosion protection during storage or export. These preservative oils maintain internal surface integrity and reduce recommissioning preparation time.
Surface preparation is equally critical in manufacturing environments. Products such as Tectyl 150 and Tectyl Biocleaner support proper cleaning and substrate preparation before coating application, directly influencing adhesion and long-term corrosion performance.
