Tectyl supports vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators, and service networks across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, rail vehicles, and military platforms. Our corrosion protection systems are designed to protect vehicle structures during production, export, operation, and maintenance. From chassis and cavities to engines and transport preservation, Tectyl solutions help extend vehicle durability and reduce lifecycle corrosion risk.
Vehicles operate in highly corrosive environments. Road salt, water, stone impact, humidity, vibration, and temperature changes continuously stress metal components. Tectyl provides rust protection systems engineered to address these real-world conditions across automotive, heavy-duty, rail, agricultural, and special-purpose vehicles.
For chassis and undercarriage protection, wax/asphaltic coatings such as Tectyl 120, Tectyl 121-LV, and Tectyl 122-A provide high film build and resistance against salt and mechanical abrasion. For applications requiring water-based solutions, Tectyl 5660W and flame-retardant Tectyl 5660W FR support public transport and safety-critical vehicle segments, including buses and rail systems.
Internal cavities and hollow structures are protected using penetrating cavity waxes such as Tectyl 4D750, Tectyl 210-R, and Cavity Wax aerosol solutions. These products are designed to migrate into seams, welds, and enclosed sections where corrosion often begins due to trapped moisture.
During vehicle production and export preparation, multi-purpose and general rust preventive products such as Tectyl 506, Tectyl 506-WD, and Tectyl 300G Clear E protect machined components, spare parts, and assemblies. Transparent coatings allow visual inspection without removal, supporting serviceability and quality control.
For engine and system protection, preservative oils with superior lubricating properties, such as Tectyl 930 and Tectyl 915W40, provide internal corrosion protection for engines, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems during storage and international transport.
In addition, sound-damping coatings such as Tectyl 5638W reduce vibration and structure-borne noise in vehicle interiors while maintaining corrosion resistance, particularly in public transport applications.
Across passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, agricultural equipment, construction machinery, rail systems, and military vehicles, Tectyl solutions are used during manufacturing, export, dealership storage, fleet maintenance, and aftermarket service.
